Key Responsibilities:
- DevOps Strategy & Leadership:
Lead the design and implementation of DevOps strategies that align with company goals and technical requirements.. - Infrastructure Automation:
Oversee the automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines. Use tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or equivalent to automate and optimize infrastructure. - Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to streamline the release process and improve the speed and reliability of product delivery - Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Ensure the environment is scalable, secure, and cost-efficient, leveraging cloud-native tools and best practices for automation, monitoring, and management. - Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and IT teams to ensure that DevOps practices are aligned with business needs and technical requirements. - Monitoring & Performance Optimization:
Implement monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning across systems, applications, and infrastructure. Identify bottlenecks and drive efforts to improve system uptime, reliability, and performance. - Security & Compliance:
Ensure that infrastructure and deployment pipelines follow security best practices and compliance requirements. - Incident Management & Troubleshooting:
Take ownership of system incidents and drive resolutions with a focus on root cause analysis and proactive prevention of future occurrences. - Mentoring & Team Development:
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level DevOps engineers - Documentation & Best Practices:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of DevOps processes, infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and runbooks.
Key Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. - Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a related field with a proven track record of designing, deploying, and managing large-scale, highly available systems.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership or senior technical role, managing a team of DevOps engineers.
