Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Design Strategy:
Drive overall user experience and design strategy, ensuring it aligns with business goals, brand identity, and user needs. - UI/UX Design Leadership:
Lead the UI/UX design process from conceptualization to execution for web, mobile, and desktop applications. - Collaboration with Product Teams:
Work closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to understand product requirements, user needs, and project goals. Translate these into engaging, user-centered designs. - User Research & Testing:
Oversee user research activities (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, surveys) to gather insights that inform design decisions. Analyze user feedback and data to continuously improve the user experience. - Mentorship & Team Development:
Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of UI/UX designers, guiding their growth, improving their skills, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. - Prototyping & Interaction Design:
Design high-fidelity mockups, wireframes, and interactive prototypes using tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar. - Design Systems:
Lead the development and maintenance of a design system that ensures consistency across all digital touchpoints. Work to improve and update the system as new patterns and UI trends emerge. - Cross-functional Leadership:
Partner with engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs and address any design-related challenges during development. - Client & Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate design concepts, rationale, and progress to senior leadership, stakeholders, and clients.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on leading design initiatives.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering high-quality user interfaces and exceptional user experiences for complex products.
- Extensive experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-platform design (web, mobile, tablet, etc.).
