We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AnyLogic/Simio Architect/Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of simulation modeling, with a proven track record of developing operational simulation models using AnyLogic and/or Simio. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in Java and/or Python programming, analytical skills, and the ability to translate real-world problems into accurate, high-fidelity simulation models.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement simulation models using AnyLogic and/or Simio to address complex operational challenges.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into simulation models that provide actionable insights.
Optimize existing simulation models for performance and accuracy.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of models to ensure reliability and validity of results.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation models with other systems and data sources.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members on simulation modeling best practices.
Stay updated with the latest developments in simulation technology and methodologies to continually enhance our modeling capabilities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong experience in operational simulation modeling with AnyLogic and/or Simio.
Proficiency in Java and/or Python programming.
Demonstrated ability to develop complex simulation models from scratch and optimize existing models.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other simulation software (e.g., FlexSim, Arena) is a plus.
Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with database management and SQL.
