🎯 Role Overview
We are looking for a DevOps Lead to drive our cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and CI/CD transformation initiatives.
This role focuses on designing scalable systems, enabling efficient deployments, and leading DevOps best practices, rather than 24/7 operational support.
You will work closely with engineering teams to build reliable, automated, and secure platforms, while mentoring a team of DevOps engineers.
💼 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Leadership & Team Enablement
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of DevOps engineers
- Provide architectural and technical direction across projects
- Drive a culture of ownership, automation, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, security)
🔹 Platform Engineering & Cloud Architecture
- Design and manage scalable infrastructure on Azure (primary) and AWS/GCP (secondary)
- Lead cloud migration initiatives (e.g., Azure → On-Prem / multi-cloud)
- Architect highly available and secure Kubernetes-based platforms
🔹 CI/CD & Automation
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins
- Standardize deployment practices using Helm charts and GitOps approaches
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform / IaC frameworks
🔹 Containerization & Kubernetes
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (AKS or hybrid setups)
- Build reusable Helm charts and deployment templates
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and cost optimization
🔹 Messaging, Identity & Data Systems
- Set up and manage RabbitMQ from scratch (HA, clustering, failover)
- Work with PostgreSQL (basic administration, performance awareness)
- Implement and manage Keycloak for authentication and authorization
🔹 Monitoring, Reliability & Performance
- Implement monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
- Define SLIs/SLOs and improve system reliability
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
🔹 Security & Best Practices
- Implement DevSecOps practices across pipelines and infrastructure
- Manage secrets, access controls, and compliance requirements
- Ensure secure communication and network configurations
🔹 Process & Strategy
- Drive DevOps maturity across projects
- Standardize tools, frameworks, and reusable modules
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and introduce improvements
🛠 Required Skills
- Strong expertise in DevOps principles and platform engineering
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud (mandatory)
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Experience with RabbitMQ setup and management
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Keycloak
- Strong scripting skills (Bash / Python)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Solid understanding of networking and system design

- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Experience in cloud migration (Azure ↔ On-Prem)
- Exposure to GitOps tools (ArgoCD / FluxCD)
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, with 2+ years in a leadership role
- Proven experience in driving platform engineering and automation initiatives
- Azure and/or AWS certifications are must to have (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer)
